Booking & Cancellation Policies
These are the general rules for transportation requests. Your written quote or confirmation may include route-specific terms that take precedence.
Last updated: August 25, 2026
Requests and confirmation
Submitting the website form, calling, or texting does not by itself create a reservation. A trip is confirmed only after Sunset Elite accepts the date, time, route, passengers, luggage, vehicle, price, payment terms, and applicable policies in writing.
- Provide accurate pickup and destination addresses.
- Use the local time at the pickup location.
- For airports, include the airline and flight number.
- List all passengers, bags, child seats, mobility devices, and oversized items.
Rates and changes
Rates are based on the confirmed itinerary and trip details. Added stops, extended waiting, address changes, schedule changes, parking, tolls, cleaning, damage, or a larger vehicle requirement may change the price when disclosed in the quote or confirmation.
- Ask for the current route-specific rate before confirming.
- Do not rely on an old quote for a new date or itinerary.
Cancellations and no-shows
The applicable cancellation deadline, fee, and refund terms must be provided with the written quote or confirmation. A customer who cannot locate the driver should call before leaving the pickup point. Failure to appear or communicate may be treated as a no-show under the confirmed terms.
- The website does not invent a universal cancellation fee without owner-approved terms.
- Review the route-specific cancellation language before payment or confirmation.
Airport delays and waiting
Flight monitoring requires an accurate flight number. Customers must remain reachable after landing. Delays, diversions, baggage delays, customs, terminal congestion, and changed pickup rules may affect waiting and scheduling; the written confirmation explains any included grace period or charge.
- Notify Sunset Elite of airline or flight-number changes.
- Follow the current airport pickup instructions sent for the trip.
Passengers, luggage and special needs
The reserved vehicle must safely fit the party and its belongings. A listed passenger maximum does not guarantee cargo fit. Child-seat requests, mobility items, accessibility needs, pets, and oversized equipment must be disclosed and specifically confirmed.
- Sunset Elite is not an ambulance or medical-care provider.
- Emergency or clinical transport needs require an appropriate provider.
- Seat-belt and child-restraint laws apply.
Conduct and safety
The driver may decline or end a trip when necessary for safety, unlawful conduct, undisclosed capacity needs, severe passenger behavior, or conditions that make transportation unsafe, subject to applicable law and the confirmed terms.
